Free Google Shopping Feed Validator

Paste or upload your product feed and instantly catch the issues that get products disapproved in Google Merchant Center — missing attributes, invalid GTINs, bad image and price values, non-compliant titles. It runs entirely in your browser, so your feed never leaves your device.

🔒 Your feed is parsed entirely in your browser — it never leaves your device and is not uploaded to any server.

Stop fixing disapprovals by hand

FeedArc validates GTINs, required attributes, images, and categories the moment you import — and auto-fixes recurring issues with feed rules — so disapprovals stop costing you ad spend.

What it checks

The validator mirrors the deterministic, feed-side rules behind the most common Merchant Center disapprovals. For each product it flags missing required attributes (title, description, link, image_link, price, availability) as errors, and missing recommended attributes (brand, GTIN, google_product_category, condition, MPN, colour, size) as warnings. It validates GTIN format and the GS1 check digit, title length and quality (ALL-CAPS and promotional text), description length, price and sale-price sanity, that image and product URLs are absolute http(s), and that availability uses an accepted value.

This covers the machine-checkable causes. The issues a feed alone can’t reveal — landing-page price/availability mismatch, GTIN ownership, image content, and policy — are exactly what the Merchant Center disapprovals guide walks through, and what FeedArc validates more thoroughly at import.

Frequently asked questions

What does this Google Shopping feed validator check?

It checks the common, machine-checkable rules that cause most Merchant Center disapprovals: required attributes (title, description, link, image_link, price, availability), recommended attributes (brand, GTIN, google_product_category, condition, MPN, colour, size), GTIN format and GS1 check digit, title length / ALL-CAPS / promotional text, description length, price and sale_price sanity, http(s) image and product URLs, and availability values. It accepts a Google Shopping XML feed or a CSV/TSV with a header row.

Is my product feed uploaded anywhere?

No. The feed is parsed and validated entirely in your browser using JavaScript — it is never uploaded to FeedArc or any server. You can validate a feed containing real prices and URLs without it leaving your device.

Does a clean result mean my products will be approved?

Not necessarily. This free tool catches deterministic, feed-side issues. It cannot see landing-page price/availability mismatches, GTIN ownership, image content problems, or policy violations — those are checked by Google at review time. FeedArc validates more of these at import and fixes recurring issues with feed rules.

Which channels are supported?

The tool currently validates against Google Shopping requirements, which also cover the bulk of Meta Catalog and Bing Shopping rules. Channel-specific validation for Meta, TikTok, Criteo and others is part of the full FeedArc product.
